

Bio.
Gillian specialises in all things HR. After a career spanning a number of different industries, she started the first of several HR-orientated roles whilst in the Civil Service in 2002, dealing with short and long-term recruitment, workforce planning and analytics. After taking a role in private industry, Gillian took up a coaching position, dealing with staff performance and mentoring for results, gaining a Certificate in Employee Coaching.
Gillian later moved into a Generalist HR role, handling the administration of a busy HR department, before moving into a management position, dealing with all aspects of the employee life-cycle. Gillian consolidated her experience with a Level 5 CIPD Diploma in HR Management, making her well equipped to deal with all HR issues. Gillian’s experience includes:
· Implementing HR Policies and Processes;
· Designing and implementing induction programmes;
· Mentoring and coaching, and training on both on an individual and group basis;
· Recruitment, having dealt with in-house work and as an external consultant;
· Investigations, Grievances and Disciplinaries up to and including dismissal stage;
· Appeal investigations and hearings;
· TUPE and redundancy consultations;
· Working with managers to advise on staff performance/attendance issues & improvement plans; and
· Employee engagement.
